What is the transportation ministry?

The transportation ministry provides short term ride assistance to those who have travel needs. This may include doctor visits, grocery store, to surgery, etc… WE DO NOT GIVE RIDES HOME FROM SURGERY.

Who can be a transportation minister?

Anyone who has a car and has been trained through St. Francis Cares. Their training includes Safeguarding God’s People, confidentiality, boundaries and active listening.

What is expected?

Have a car and willing to be called upon to provide a ride. Complete simple training with clergy. BY VOLUNTEERING YOU ARE NOT SIGNING UP TO FULFILL ALL RIDE REQUEST.
