Sacred Ground is a film- and readings-based dialogue series on race, grounded in Christian faith and designed by the Episcopal Church. Through eleven sessions, small groups journey together, exploring America’s history of race and racism while weaving in personal and family stories. The curriculum focuses on Indigenous, Black, Latino, Asian/Pacific American, and European American experiences, inviting honest conversation and self-reflection. Sacred Ground is part of the Episcopal Church’s Becoming Beloved Community initiative, fostering racial healing, reconciliation, and justice. Open to all, it is especially designed to help people engage in deep, transformative conversations about race and faith.
