Good Friday, April 3 | 1:30 PM & 6 PM
Following the solemn 12:00 PM Good Friday Liturgy in the Sanctuary, our parish will offer two opportunities to pray and reflect through the Stations of the Cross later in the day. Whether you are seeking a quiet time of contemplation or a family-friendly way to experience the story of Good Friday together, we invite you to join us.
1:30 PM – Contemplative Stations of the Cross
Hope Pavilion grounds and walking paths
Led by Fr. Justin Yawn, this offering will be a quiet, traditional, and non-interactive prayer experience. Participants will move prayerfully through the stations along the paths near Hope Pavilion. This will also be a meaningful opportunity for members of our parish to say goodbye to the ruins and architectural features that have long been part of this space. Please note: Because the paths include uneven ground, this option may not be suitable for those with accessibility challenges.
6:00 PM – Interactive, Family-Friendly Stations of the Cross
Main Campus, followed by fellowship in the Parish Hall
Families, children, and parishioners of all ages are invited to participate in an interactive journey through the Stations of the Cross. Afterward, we will gather in the Parish Hall to break bread together. Tables will include simple conversation prompts and reflective questions to help us continue reflecting on the meaning of Good Friday together.
From 6:00–8:00 PM, food trucks will be on campus so that our community can share a relaxed meal after the stations:
Hook Em Up Seafood
904 Burgers
Mr. Softee Ice Cream
All are welcome to join us for prayer, reflection, and fellowship as we walk together through the story of Christ’s love on Good Friday.
