On St. Francis:

In the spirit of our community and the resurrected life we will celebrate during the Great 50 days of Easter, I am excited to invite you to a special forum series entitled "On the Church: A Deep Dive into St. Francis." This enlightening series aims to acknowledge all we have undergone over the last two years, what that growth may mean, and the opportunities that lay ahead. We will look at all the foundational pieces of our wonderful community in light of our rich Episcopal/Anglican tradition.

Series Overview

  • April 7 Session 1: "Sabbaticals Explained: What Does This Mean for Us?" – The benefits and implications of sabbaticals for our church community.

  • April 14 Session 2: "The Rector's Role and Ordination Vows" – Understanding the foundational commitments that guide our leadership.

  • April 21 Session 3: "Why Is Fr. Justin Spending Time at the Diocese?" Insights into Fr. Justin's role within and beyond our parish.

  • Session 4 May 5: "The Orders of Ministry: Bishop, Priest, and Deacon with emphasis on Deacon Mark’s Journey to Us" – Celebrating the unique path and contributions of Deacon Mark.

  • Session 5 May 12: Where Are We and Who Are We Serving?" – A reflection on our mission and the communities we impact.

  • Session 6 May 19: "The Vestry's Vision: Unveiling the first step of Our Strategic Plan" – A look into the strategic initiatives and future directions of our parish.

  • Session 7 May 26: "Embracing Growth: Navigating Changes as We Move Forward" Strategies and reflections on managing and embracing growth within our church.

This forum will be held in between the services and after the 10:15 service to provide opportunities for all to attend.
