Oct 4 | 10 AM - 12 PM

Bring your furry, feathered, or scaled friends for a special blessing. It’s a joyful day for the whole community to celebrate all of God’s creatures.

Celebrating the Feast Day of St. Francis — our beloved patron saint of animals and the natural world — we gather to offer blessings upon our cherished animal companions. This meaningful ceremony reflects our profound conviction that our compassionate Creator brought forth not only humanity, but also the soaring birds of the heavens, the swimming creatures of the waters, and all the magnificent beings that inhabit our forests, meadows, and wild places.

Join us in front of the church on Saturday, October 4, from 10 AM to Noon, for Blessing of the Animals. Dogs must be on leashes, and all other pets must be in a carrier.  We will have dog and cat treats, and water for all animals.  All blessings are performed by clergy.  Every animal (and pet owner) will receive a certificate of the blessing along with a St. Francis medal.

St. Francis in-the-Field is located at 895 Palm Valley Road, Ponte Vedra.
