Adult Formation, Fellowship, and Support Groups
Many of these groups meet regularly for fellowship, spiritual growth or Bible Study. We encourage you to find the right fit, participate on a regular basis and to prayerfully consider your talents. If you think of yourself as a leader we encourage you to think about spearheading a church committee that focuses on an area that interests you. please contact Noelle at noelle@stfrancispvb.org
supper clubs
We heard your feedback on our parish wide survey, and we are creating more opportunities for fellowship and intimacy! Supper Clubs are a great way to be in community with one another, and enjoy fellowship over casual dinners in a relaxed setting. It's chance to get to know one another better and share food and conversation.
If you would like to participate in a supper club, please signup HERE and let us know which neighborhood you live in. Once folks have signed up, the Parish Office will create groups and help identify a coordinator for each one. The group coordinators and the individual groups will then decide the essentials (when and where to meet, frequency of gatherings, potlucks or dining out etc.).
Wired Word
Are you looking for something that doesn't require homework where you can discuss current events and how they impact our lives as Christians? Join us Sunday mornings in the Youth Building from 9:00am to 9:45am, as we tackle the headlines with scripture. This is a leader led discussion group. Come when you are able or come every week. Topics are sent out via email the Thursday prior to class so you see what we'll be discussing. We'd love to have you join the conversation! See you Sundays!
Women’s Bible Study
SFITF hosts a women's Bible study on Wednesday mornings at 10am in the Youth Building. Most studies have daily reading assignments and personal reflection questions that require approximately 15-45 minutes per day, 5 days per week, depending on the study. The Wednesday morning meetings generally consist of a short video followed by a group discussion and prayer time.

Sacred ground
Sacred Ground is more than just a discussion group; it's a spiritually grounded, educational experience that invites us to explore the complex history of race in America. By engaging with a carefully curated curriculum that includes documentary films, videos, readings, and a comprehensive study guide, participants are encouraged to reflect on their own family histories and the broader American narrative. The aim is to foster a 'beloved community' where every person is valued and nurtured as a beloved child of God.

The Men’s Group typically meets on even numbered months for an event or meal at the Hope Pavilion or local restaurant. They are also involved with Service Opportunities and provide the Fellowship and Events Committee with assistance by cooking and providing the entrée for our Parish Luncheons.
